Redwood Empire Council BSA volunteers and staff are pleased to inform unit Scouters about Internet Advancement reporting and Scoutbook software. Using Scoutbook sofware, members can record their youth member advancement from any online location using computer, tablet, or smart phone. Advancement can be tracked by youth and families, and requires unit leader approval.
You will find these software programs to be easy, convenient, and accurate because you enter the information and it is saved for later access. Units may use this service at any time as long as the unit is an active, registered BSA unit. The software synchronizes unit records with official BSA member records, and produces advancement reports needed for purchasing rank badges, merit badges, and Cub Scout adventure belt loops and pins, all of which are available for purchase by unit leaders at the REC-BSA Trading Post (service financially supported by your Friends of Scouting donations).
