Special Assistance - Uniform and Badge Fund ($50 minimum)

Redwood Empire Council is accepting special donations for helping BSA members to replace Scout uniforms and badges lost in the October 2017 multi-county fires. If fully funded, this program will be expanded to assist other needy families with uniforms and badges.

Description
During the week of October 9-13, 2017, a series of devastating fires destroyed hundreds of homes throughout a multi-county area of Northern California, including the homes of dozens of Scouts and Scouters in Sonoma, Mendocino, and Lake Counties. Redwood Empire Council has established this Special Assistance project fund to help purchase new BSA uniforms, badges, and insignia for our members who lost their items with the destruction of their homes. If fully funded, this program will be expanded to assist other needy families with uniforms and badges. Your gift of $50 or more will help our local members, and is fully tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
