One key to a successful Scouting experience for young people is trained volunteer leadership. Leadership training provides adult leaders with fundamental information about the aims and methods of the Scouting movement, specifics about their particular roles in Scouting, and introduction to development of skills desirable for each role.
Your Redwood Empire Council volunteers and staff are committed to provide top quality training opportunities for leaders, parents, and Scouts by supporting both online training and in-person training experiences. Through these training programs, unit youth and adult leaders are able provide a better, quality Scouting program to our entire youth membership.
In-person training courses hosted by your council, as well as some neighboring BSA councils, are posted on our website calendar. These courses are subsidized by your Friends of Scouting donations.
