Welcome to Camp Pi

a S.T.E.M. based Day Camp!

Youth from First to Fifth grade will have the awesome opportunity to build cool projects, learn about physics, team building, computer programming, robot competitions, even build a computer and take it home!

What is S.T.E.M.? STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, four of the most needed areas of development in a young boy or girl in elementary school today.

To do this, we will introduce them to the Raspberry Pi. A credit card sized computer designed to teach our youth a variety of things. They will build this computer and even be able to take it home! Their very own computer that can do everything they could with an expensive desktop computer.

All of these things will be done in an environment that feels more like fun than learning, so they will remember it for a lifetime!

Here are just a few of the awesome projects your child can accomplish!

  • Building projects to accomplish specific challenges
  • The physics behind Water Bottle Rockets
  • How to surf the internet safely
  • How to build their own computer programs
  • Work with robotics
  • Work in teams to build cool stuff
  • Build their own computer! The Raspberry Pi (more at www.raspberrypi.orgExternal Link)
