Volunteers from the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition will be administering a free multi-faceted Bike Safety Class at Sonoma Mountain Village on June 27th. Participants will practice bicycle skills like signaling, stopping at intersections and stop signs, yielding, riding in a straight line, maneuvering and weaving through obstacles, and more. The fun, on-site skills course will enable young cyclists to ride more safely and with confidence. Lunch will be available. Fun prizes! There is no online registration process for the Bike Safety Rodeo. Tutorials will begin at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to show up and take part!
(This is being offered by the American Lung Association in conjunction with their Breath Easy Bike-a-Thon. You need not be part of the fundraiser to participate in the rodeo.)
