Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills training (IOLS) – is part 2 of the two part training required to be considered fully “Trained” for a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster Position.
Wood Badge is training in group leadership skills for volunteers involved in all positions of the Boy Scouts of America. You’ll learn key team development strategies, how to utilize your diverse troop resources, and advanced skills that will help your unit grow.
If you are interested in being a Den Chief, or already serving as a Den Chief but haven’t been trained, come join a great team of Scouts and Scouters who will present you with an awesome Den Chief training experience.
The Redwood Empire Council is very excited to announce that this years Webelos Woods will be held at Camp Royaneh located only 50 minutes from Santa Rosa in beautiful Cazadero.
Fall is the perfect time to get BALOO trained so you will be prepared to take your Pack Camping.
The Redwood Empire Council, BSA will hold its 6th Annual Auction & Gala on Fri., Oct. 23, 2015. This event is one of our largest fundraisers for the year. The event helps the REC continue its commitment to support over 2,100 youth in Sonoma & Mendocino Counties between ages 5 - 21. We'd greatly appreciate your support of this event to help assist the REC in their efforts.
